Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Services - Overview

Since 1987, SCS has been offering Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) services to businesses, making us the first provider of BC/DR services in Singapore. SCS' BC/DR services are designed at improving your business resilience in times of disasters and major disruptions. We provide a comprehensive solution that identifies the potential threats and develops the framework for your business to return to 'business as usual'.

A certified BC/DR service provider by PSB - SS507 standards, we work closely with relevant authorities in setting and enhancing industry standards. We have consulted and trained numerous leading organisations in Asia Pacific, and contributed as a Senior BCM Advisor to the China BCM - a member of the China Federation of IT Promotions.

SCS is the only Recovery Service provider that has the capability and experience to support recovery services on different platforms. We are vendor independent in that we have our own hardware and software engineers to support multi-system environments, which is a critical factor in supporting BC/DR.

To date, SCS has successfully supported six live simulations, nine live Disaster Recoveries, 16 Business Continuity activations for 400 clients during SARS period, and staged more than 4,000 recovery tests. Our disaster recovery team has acquired real, in-depth knowledge and a deep understanding of our customers' disaster recovery requirements. We have a pool of qualified Business Continuity Management consultants certified by DRII-USA and BCI-UK.
